Supertram to operate a special service during Tramlines Festival

The annual Tramlines Festival will be taking place at Hillsborough Park between Friday 24th and Sunday 26th July 2026. This year headline acts will include Fatboy Slim, Courteeners and Wolf Alice and an estimated 10,000 people are expected to attend. They are being advised that one of the best ways to get there is by tram and to help Supertram have announced they will be running a special service to assist.

UK tramway accident risk reduces by 25% in three years

Updated modelling by the LRSSB has shown that the overall accident risk on UK tramways has fallen by more than a quarter over the past three years. The new modelling has revealed there have been enhancements across the board, with the greatest gains coming from measures to mitigate against incidents involving third parties, including both pedestrians and other road users.

Edinburgh Trams 267 has now received its 14th different advert (and second full wrap) with a design for Irn Bru, the latest quintessential Scottish brand to choose the trams to promote their goods. You won’t be able to miss the tram in its new livery with it being a bright orange – to match the colour of the drink!

Supertram’s Dog of the Week Competition starts

Tram disruption for Edinburgh and Sheffield

Nottingham transport operators team up to put accessibility at their heart

In Pictures: Gateshead 10 sees the outside world again!

Seaton Tramway June mileage sees 10 out in front

And the answer to that question is that 10 was used the most, in a month which saw the operating fleet reduced by three to allow pre-summer maintenance to take place.

UKTram share expertise at UTIP meeting
