Plans to extend the DLR to Beckton Riverside and Thamesmead are on course after backing from the Government in the Autumn Budget alongside strong public support in the recent consultation.

British Transport Police confirmed that a person died on the tracks at Poplar on the Docklands Light Railway. The tragic incident happened at approximately 0800 on 3rd December 2025 with confirmation later received that they had passed away.
