New carriages arrived at Saltburn Cliff Tramway

The reopening of the Saltburn Cliff Tramway has moved a step closer after the specially made carriages to operate the service were delivered to the short line in Saltburn-on-the Sea in the Tees Valley, northeast England.

Metro workers praised for rescuing lost dog on the tracks

Two Tyne and Wear Metro Operations Managers at Nexus have been praised for saving a lost dog which strayed onto the network in June. Louis Meach and Alan Hudson rescued Bobby the Rhodesian Ridgeback by enticing him with some chicken.
