As June becomes July it is time once again to see just which trams ran at the Seaton Tramway with the mileage revealed in their new look monthly newsletter. And the answer to that question is that 10 was used the most, in a month which saw the operating fleet reduced by three to allow pre-summer maintenance to take place.
10 ran a total of 792 miles during the month with 8 coming in second place having covered 756 miles and then no. 9 ran 672 miles.
Ignoring the three trams undergoing maintenance, the lowest mileage covered in June was by 4 (the Blackpool Boat inspired tramcar) which managed just the 66 miles.
The three trams which weren’t used at all were 12, 14 and 19, which were undergoing maintenance ahead of the busiest period of the year for the tramway once the school holidays kick-off later this month.
