What’s New on British Trams Online? 11th April 2026

With the West Midlands Metro extension to Millennium Point having opened on Easter Sunday that is where this week’s photos come from:

This week there are updates this week to the Blackpool Tramway (Bolton 66 moved to Starr Gate), Douglas Bay Horse Tramway (last operating dates and 18 livery change), East Anglia Transport Museum (last operating dates), Edinburgh Trams (photo links), Fylde Transport Trust (last operating dates), Manchester Metrolink (new adverts, advert removed and photo links), Manx Electric Railway (last operating dates), National Tramway Museum (last operating dates), Nottingham Express Transit (new advert), Snaefell Mountain Railway (last operating dates), Volk’s Electric Railway (last operating dates) and West Midlands Metro (photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Edinburgh Trams (photo links), Manchester Metrolink (new adverts, advert removed and photo links) and Nottingham Express Transit (new advert) Advert Lists.

West Midlands Metro 28 departs from the new Millennium Point terminus on 7th April 2026 as it heads to Edgbaston Village. The extension opened to the public on Easter Sunday, 5th April 2026 and has seen two new stops added to the wider network. Its served by trams from Wolverhampton St George’s which run to Millennium Point before continuing on to Edgbaston Village, there are currently no services in the opposite direction.
