This week there are updates this week to the Docklands Light Railway (update on new trains status and deliveries), East Anglia Transport Museum (photo links), Edinburgh Trams (photo links), Luas, Dublin (general update), Manchester Metrolink (adverts removed and photo links), National Tramway Museum (2026 planned operating fleet), Nottingham Express Transit (partial removal of advert on 204), Tyne and Wear Metro (new train into service and Metrocars for scrap) and West Midlands Metro (new advert, new name and photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Manchester Metrolink (adverts removed and photo links), Nottingham Express Transit (partial removal of advert) and West Midlands Metro (new advert and photo links) Advert Lists.
The latest example of the same advertiser using multiple tramways to promote their businesses is L’Oreal who have current ads on both the West Midlands Metro and Manchester Metrolink. Its the Manchester version we see here on 3102 as it passes Manchester Central on 27th February 2026 on its way from Manchester Airport to Victoria. Both adverts are very similar and promote L’Oreal’s lengthening mascara. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
