In Pictures: West Midlands Metro 50 swaps TK Maxx vinyls

West Midlands Metro 50 has had a change of its advertising vinyls, but its not a change of advertiser as it is still promoting TK Maxx with a revised set having been applied to the tram on 3rd November 2026.

50 had been advertising TK Maxx since June 2026 when it received an advert which, on one side at least, appeared unfinished as it just included lots of blank red sections. Its new design seems to be far more complete with the ends of the side (as with most WMM ads the ends of the tram remain in fleet livery) remaining red whereas the rest of the advert is mainly blue with images. The images include ducks in various outfits, obviously.

Before February of this year 50 hadn’t previously carried an advert but this is now its third. Its first ad was for L’Oreal between February and April before its first TK Maxx came in June 2026.
