The first week of March has been a week for stripping vinyls in Manchester it would seem as no fewer than three trams are now back running without adverts. The trio of trams back in yellow and silver are 3076, 3081 and 3107.
The fact that 3076 and 3107 have lost their adverts is no surprise considering they were promoting the BRIT Awards which took place at Co-Op Live on the last day of February 2026.
3076 had been the first of the two to receive this advert when the vinyls were added in January 2026 before 3107 followed during February 2026.
As for 3081 that was advertising Power of You by Giorgio Armani. Those vinyls had been applied in January 2026 but almost as soon as March was upon us it was time for those to also be removed.
Between the three trams they have had 17 adverts over the years, of which 11 of them have been on 3081!
