There are updates this week to the Beamish Tramway (photo links), Crich Tramway Village (last operating dates), Douglas Bay Horse Tramway (last operating dates), Edinburgh Trams (new advert and photo links), Manchester Metrolink (new advert and photo links), Manx Electric Railway (last operating dates and photo links), Tyne and Wear Metro (train into service), Volk’s Electric Railway (last operating dates) and West Midlands Metro (photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Edinburgh Trams (new advert and photo links) and Manchester Metrolink (new advert and photo links) Advert Lists.
The National Trust have returned to advertising on both the West Midlands Metro and Manchester Metrolink with near identical wraps on trams to promote their Blossom Watch campaign. The first to appear was this example on West Midlands Metro 57 in March 2025 with it debuting in service on 22nd March. On 8th April we catch up with the tram and its wrap as it pauses at Edgbaston Village ahead of departing with a service back to Wolverhampton Station. (Photograph by Michael Morton)
