South Yorkshire Supertram and Global (the Media & Entertainment group) have completed a major upgrade of the tram network’s 6-sheet advertising estate. This has seen a new generation of high-quality, energy-efficient LED-lit posters installed across the network.

A man who was convicted of assaulting a tram conductor, exhibiting threatening behaviour and criminal damage to tramstops at Attercliffe and Cricket Inn Road, has been sentenced at court.

A molten orange, grey and asphalt black livery looks set to be seen across trams and buses in South Yorkshire as part of a new South Yorkshire People’s Network brand, recently unveiled by Oliver Coppard, Mayor of South Yorkshire.

There will be additional engineering works on the South Yorkshire Supertram network affecting services after 2200 on Saturday 31st January. With the works due to take place at Shalesmoor both the Blue and Yellow routes will be running revised services.
