This week there are updates this week to the Beamish Tramway (photo links), Edinburgh Trams (photo links), Manx Electric Railway (last operated date), National Tramway Museum (photo links) and Tyne & Wear Metro (photo links and trains into service). 26th June 2026 was planned to be the last runs of the original Metrocars on the Tyne and Wear Metro (or at least was advertised as the last guaranteed use) and during that week a special diagram was in operation which saw enthusiasts ad the general public alike flock to the network for one last ride. The very last day is pictured here as we see 4050+4024 arriving at Cullercoats. (Photograph by Howard Forster)
