You’ll need to dig deeper into your pockets to travel on the South Yorkshire Supertram network from 1st January 2025 with confirmation that fares will be increasing, including the removal of the Mayoral Combined Authority funded cap on single fares.

Heavy overnight rain in Sheffield led to delays for trams on Thursday 5th December 2024. The tracks were flooded on Middlewood Road close to Leppings Lane tramstop which meant that early morning trams were unable to travel to Middlewood.

Anyone who is either a current member of the armed forces or a veteran will be able to travel for free on the South Yorkshire Supertram network on both Remembrance Sunday (10th November) and Armistice Day (Monday 11th November).

The Pretty Little Thing days are over on South Yorkshire Supertram after the one remaining tram – 111 – returned to service with a new advert. The tram now advertises Sumup in a black and white design.
