This week there are updates this week to the Blackpool Tramway (Standard 143 departing), East Anglia Transport Museum (Blackpool Standard 143 arriving), Fylde Transport Trust (Blackpool Standard 143 moving),Manchester Metrolink (advert removed, new advert and tram back into service), Manx Electric Railway (last operating dates), Seaton Tramway (last operating dates), Tyne and Wear Metro (new train into service and Metrocars for scrap) and West Midlands Metro (advert removed, new advert and photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Manchester Metrolink (advert removed and new advert) and West Midlands Metro (advert removed, new advert and photo links) Advert Lists.
This year has seen a couple of partial adverts applied to trams on the West Midlands Metro. Rather than the majority of the tram being wrapped, this sees just the centre three sections of the tram having adverts. The second of these designs is for Business Growth West Midlands on 43 and it includes a two sided advert (one purple and one orange). This photo shows the purple side as the tram calls at Brindleyplace with a service through to Edgbaston Village. (Photograph by Andy Walters)
