Siemens awarded contract for Cardiff tram-train line

Siemens Mobility have announced that they have been awarded a contract to deliver the tram-train signalling infrastructure for Cardiff Crossrail – Wales’ first tram-train line.

UKTram Light Rail Engineers Group meet in Edinburgh

The latest meeting of UKTram’s Light Rail Engineers Group (LREG) took place in Edinburgh over 21st and 22nd May 2026 where updates were shared, operational challenges were discussed and best practice was exchanged between members.
