Even more adverts on Manchester Metrolink to report on as the summer arrives with sunglasses and cocktails on the menu! 3075 and 3117 are the two trams which have received new vinyls as Aperol Spritz and Sunglass Hut both return with new designs.
Both trams were first noted in service with their new wraps on 15th June 2026 and for both it’s a return to advertising after periods where they were running in the standard Metrolink fleet livery.
3075 advertises Aperol Spritz with this being its first since vinyls were removed for Captain Morgan in September 2025. This is the eleventh different advert for 3075 which included three for The Trafford Centre.
The advert is a nice cheery orange and marks the third time that Aperol Spritz have advertised on a tram – 3063 (June-September 2017) and 3117 (June-August 2025). This design is slightly different to those we have seen before.
And talking of 3117 that is also now carrying an advert again with Sunglass Hut the advertiser. They too are a returning company to the trams with 3097 having advertised them June-July 2025. It’s a completely different advert from last year’s.
3117 has now had ten adverts in its time: Manchester College, Cyberpunk 2077, Lifebuoy Soap, Yayoi Kusama Aviva Studio, Marks Electrical, Aperol Spritz, Wednesday, Wicked: For Food, Hoppers. Its been back in fleet livery since April 2026.
3075 in its Aperol Spritz advert calls at Broadway as the lead tram of a double unit heading to Ashton.
