In Pictures: Another Flexity2 returns to service in Blackpool

The operating modern tram fleet of the Blackpool Tramway has been further boosted with the return to service of 004. Meanwhile, two other recent absentees (006 and 017) are being tested ahead of their own returns to action.

RAIB start investigation following Metrolink derailment

The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) have announced that they have started an investigation after a tram derailed at Piccadilly on the Manchester Metrolink network on 5th April 2026.
