Another one of the operational tram fleet at Crich is Liverpool 869, and it is that very tram which we feature in photos today.

With the theme for 2018’s Simply Trams being anniversaries and birthdays there were a number of photo line-ups on that theme with several of the collection being lucky enough to be celebrating significant anniversaries.

The current operational fleet at Crich consists of three trams which plied their trade in West Yorkshire on Leeds Corporation Tramways. These are 180, 345 and 399 and they all feature in today’s look back at Simply Trams.

Today we feature one of the many Blackpool trams in the national collection – Blackpool Pantograph 167. This is another tram currently part of the operational fleet and that is exactly what is was doing on 1st September.

On Saturday 1st September it was Simply Trams at Crich, the newly rebranded enthusiast event at the home of the National Tramway Museum. The theme for 2018 was Birthdays and Anniversaries and that included the outside display of Prague 180.
