It is still the story in Manchester of adverts being removed and not added as we can now report on a second set of vinyls stripped in 2025.

There is more advanced notice of major engineering works taking place on the Manchester Metrolink network with services through the city centre set to affected by works for the first 16 days of March.

Two sets of engineering works have led to Manchester Metrolink disruption on Wednesday 15th January 2025. Firstly, trams were unable to travel via Piccadilly Gardens with this followed by more work needed on the Eccles line.

No new adverts for 2025 just yet in Manchester but there is an advert removal to report on – with 3117 now back in the standard Metrolink fleet livery of yellow and silver with its distinctive spots.
