In Pictures: Manchester Metrolink 3091’s Prosecco advert

Earlier in March we reported how 3091 had swapped adverts from Starling Bank to Prosecco but at the time didn’t illustrate it but now we have images showing the new look for 3091!

The advertising vinyls for Prosecco are the third set that 3091 has carried during its operating career in Manchester. This started off back in March 2020 when it received adverts for Go North Wales, these remained in place until February 2021. It then had to wait until March 2024 for its next advert when it got a design for Starling Bank (along with 3102) and this was another year long contract staying until they were removed in March 2025 to be swiftly replaced by these new vinyls for Prosecco.

3091 is seen in this photo as it departs from Shudehill. Its working a temporary Ashton-under-Lyne to Crumpsall service which was running owing to trackworks in Manchester City Centre meaning trams weren’t able to run between Piccadilly Gardens and St Peter’s Square.
