Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust – a clarification

We have recently carried some stories on future plans of the Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust taken from information supplied on their website (http://www.visitfleetwood.co.uk). Some of these stories have caused confusion amongst some of you and we have been contacted by the trustees of the FHLT asking us to clarify a few points of which we are happy to do.

  1. The Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust has no intention of scrapping any of its collection (irrespective of events surrounding a tram purchased privately – Centenary 646)
  2. The more recent exchanges between the Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust and the Lancastrian Transport Trust are purely explorative and concern principally the issue of storage of the organisations respective collections
  3. There is no agreement to create a super display of trams drawn from both collections.

  1. CTC says:

    Seems they learnt nothing then…

Difficult and painful decision were needed.
