UKTram & LRSSB Light Rail Summit tickets set to be released

Taking place on Wednesday 16th September, tickets for the UKTram & LRSSB Light Rail Summit 2026 are set to be released to industry professionals from Monday 11th May.

This will be the eighth year of the summit, and the popularity of the event means there will be a new approach to ticketing. Having previously been a free to attend event in 2026, there will now be a limited number of £10 donation tickets available with 100% of all proceeds being donated to Railway Children.

James Hammett, UKTram Managing Director, said: “The summit continues to provide a brilliant opportunity for the sector to connect, and there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make it happen. That’s a real credit to Lorraine and the team. The feedback over the years has been very encouraging, and we’re proud to see how the event has grown and continues to support the sector.”

Lorraine George, UKTram Business Manager, added: “The summit has always been a free event, so this year we wanted to introduce a simple way to give something back. By offering donation tickets, we’re able to support a charity that does important work across the rail industry, while still keeping the event accessible. It’s always a highlight in the calendar and we’re really looking forward to bringing everyone together again. There’s already a lot of interest this year, so we’d encourage people to mark their calendars for the ticket release.”

Further details of the programme – which will include presentations and discussions – will be announced in the coming weeks.
