Out and About: South Yorkshire Supertram – June 2024

It is time for another edition of “Out and About” as we head to the Middlewood terminus of South Yorkshire Supertram’s Yellow route.

As with most serious public transport networks, the Supertram system has a number of Park and Ride sites available. With parking being free the idea is to get people to leave their cars on the edge of the city centre and then take public transport further in. Here we see the signage for Middlewood Park and Ride whilst 120 sits at the stop in its inclusivity livery.

Also at Middlewood this time we see 106 at the stop awaiting departure for Meadowhall. Unfortunately, the indicator display on the platform isn’t being very helpful with telling you when the next tram will be as there seems to be a fault with the real time information.
