The weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September will be the final chance to enjoy a “hop-on, hop-off” timetable on Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours with the standard 2024 output expected over both days.
On both days it is planned that there will be five trams in service and these should be (subject to the usual weather and availability caveats) diagrammed as follows:
Saturday 28th September
A – Boat 600
B – Bolton 66
C – Balloon 700
D – Balloon 717
X – Balloon 723
Sunday 29th September
A – Bolton 66
B – Boat 600
C – Balloon 723
D – Balloon 700
X – Brush 631
A revised timetable from recent heritage tram operations will be in service with trams C and D starting their day from Pleasure Beach (and thus presumably trams which are based at Starr Gate Depot) whilst trams A, B and X all start their journeys at North Pier. Similarly at the end of the day C and D run their last service of the day to Starr Gate with the others terminating at North Pier.
The full timetable can be viewed on the Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=899188438899497&set=pcb.899188602232814 but highlights include five trips to Fleetwood (two each for trams C and D and one at the end of the day for tram A). Tram X is an additional tram which will run two Promenade Tours during the afternoon.
As well as this service, there will be a Fish and Chips Tram Tour on Friday 27th September and Illumination Tours throughout the weekend.
