The first few months of 2024 saw a number of advertising liveries appearing on Manchester Metrolink and in this edition of “Out and About” we take a look at a few.
3031 received an advert for Pepsi in March 2024 (also including internal advertising). Telling us about a new look we don’t think it means the tram! Its seen as part of a double unit here departing from St Peter’s Square bound for Altrincham.
With the new Co-op arena opening in April the existing AO Arena at Victoria has gone into overdrive with an advertising campaign which included this vinyl wrap on 3047. The tram is at St Peter’s Square on the way to Bury.
3064 was trying to persuade people to leave Manchester behind for New York City as part of a tourism campaign from the American city. Its heading to Etihad Campus here as it turns towards Piccadilly Gardens tramstop. (All Photographs by Michael Morton, 17th April 2024)
