The Light Rail Safety and Standards Board (LRSSB) have launched a new podcast with the first episode available now on various platforms. In the first episode, Carl Williams, Chief Executive, takes centre stage as he explains the LRSSB’s role in driving further advances in light rail safety and setting new standards.
Carl Williams also talks about his own light rail journey which has seen him work for networks in South Yorkshire, Edinburgh, Manchester, Nottingham and the West Midlands. For the past four years he had led the LRSSB and he continues to lead the evolution of the organisation.
The new podcast is called “Let’s Talk Light Rail” and is presented by the LRSSB’s Marketing and Digital Media Manager, Carly Swift. There’s also a look at work on new guidance and standards and the updating of existing documentation as light rail continues to grow and evolve.
