There were delays on the Blackpool Tramway on Thursday 17th September after a broken span wire at Norbreck North led to a split service having to operate for a time.
Whilst the engineering team dealt with the broken span wire – with Unimog 939 called to the scene to assist – trams ran between Starr Gate and Bispham via North Station and Thornton Gate to Fleetwood Ferry.
The incident was first reported just after 0900 with repairs concluded to allow services to resume a few hours later.

011 is seen at Bispham Station. It was unable to access the centre track for around 10 minutes because it was blocked by engineering vehicles attending the incident.
