The past few weeks have seen some changes with advertising liveries on Manchester Metrolink and here we bring you a round-up of those alterations with both new ads seen and trams returning to fleet livery.
On the new advert front 3094 has started a contract advertising Mayfield Park. The design is in the main photos of people enjoying the delights of the park – which covers 6.5 acres and was the first new park in Manchester City Centre for over 100 years when it opened in 2022.
Before this advert 3094 had been in fleet livery, although did have an advert up until June 2026 when it advertised Red Bull. This new ad is its sixth and third of 2026 (the other 2026 ad being for Boots).
A second new advert is also now being carried by 3042 – the first time it has had an advert. The tram is now advertising asics, the latest sporting clothing company to think Metrolink is the way to promote their products. One end of the advert is black before it changes to a lighter colour at the other end.
There are also three trams which have lost adverts and returned to fleet livery. They are 3075 (which was advertising Sunglass Hut), 3081 (advertising Oura Ring) and 3100 (formerly advertising JD).

South Chadderton tramstop is the location for this photo of 3094 as it works a service to Rochdale. The tram is in an advert for Mayfield Park.
