“Picture in Time” moves on again and for the next five weeks it will be the turn of South Yorkshire Supertram to be the subject.
And we start off with this image of 102 which is calling at Sheffield Station/Sheffield Hallam University which is working a Blue route service to Halfway on 6th June 2003. As can be seen the tram is carrying the white based Stagecoach fleet livery, this being the second major version of this iteration and it features the deep blue skirt. The orange, red and lighter blue stripes also help to add a splash of colour to the tram.
102 also still has roller destination blinds rather than the later electronic blinds as we still see on the trams to this day.
