KeolisAmey Metrolink – operator of the Manchester Metrolink network – recently ran an Extended Leadership Team Day which provided an opportunity to connect, reflect and learn, with a strong focus on safety and wellbeing.
The day included a series of interactive Information Stations, styled as tram stops, each exploring key themes, including wellbeing and the 2026 Roadmap. The sessions created space for open conversations, shared learning and practical insights from teams across the network.
They were also able to welcome Jason Anker MBE and Professor Tim Marsh, who delivered powerful sessions on safety. Through inspirational personal stories, they challenged perspectives, sparked reflection and reinforced the importance of looking out for one another at every level of the organisation.
Colleagues were also celebrated through the Living Our Values Awards, recognising individuals who consistently bring the We Care, We Commit, We Imagine values to life and make a positive difference every day.
The day ended with Every Role Counts Jenga! This was a simple, hands-on, engaging activity that provided a good reminder that every role truly matters. As the tower wobbled, the message was clear – remove one role, and everything else would be affected.
