In this “Out and About” we go into the centre of Manchester as we take a look at some of the new adverts already applied to trams during 2026.
3076 is one of two trams which have received adverts for the BRIT Awards during 2026, with this one being the first at the end of January 2026. With lots of images of the iconic BRITs statue along the length of the tram we see it here approaching Piccadilly Gardens when working to Ashton.
A second new advert is that on 3081. This tram is now advertising Power of You by Giorgio Armani with the vinyls having originally been stuck to the tram in January 2026. This image is on Lower Mosley Street and shows the tram at the rear of a double unit. (Both Photographs by Michael Morton, 9th February 2026)
