Edinburgh Trams help raise funds for Save the Children

Staff at Edinburgh Trams – from Drivers to Ticketing Services Assistants and the team in the office – have helped to collect funds for the Save the Children charity by celebrating the charity’s annual Christmas Jumper Day. They have spent the whole week by wrapping up in the most spectacular knitwear!

As part of the culmination of the fundraising, they added some festive fun to their uniforms on the actual Chrisymas Jumper Day of Thursday 12th December. That included hats, tinsel, jumpers, and more!

Lea Harrison, Managing Director at Edinburgh Trams, said: “Our team gets involved in charitable activities throughout the year, but it’s never more important than at Christmas, which holds a special place in our hearts. We’re delighted to be able to assist Save The Children in the run-up to the big day. By taking part in Christmas Jumper Day, we also hope to encourage our customers to join in the fun and give back as we come together to enjoy the holidays.”

Christmas Jumper Day has been run by Save the Children for 12 years, with money raised going to vulnerable youngsters worldwide, helping them access life-changing resources.
