In this latest trip out onto a UK tramway we go to Manchester Metrolink to see some photos from Oldham and Rochdale, taken at a time when the section between Rochdale Railway Station and Rochdale Town Centre was closed for engineering works. Steve Hyde with the images.
On Union Street in Oldham 3146 has just left Oldham Central on its way to Rochdale where it will terminate short at the railway station.
Still in Oldham but earlier in the day at King Street 3051 arrives from East Didsbury on another trip to Rochdale Railway Station.
In Rochdale now 3051 is seen at the railway station stop awaiting its departure time.
Again in Rochdale but on the approach to the station 3093 enters High Level Road from the track running alongside the national rail network. (All Photographs by Steve Hyde, 25th October 2024)
