In Pictures: Trams at the East Anglia Transport Museum Trolleybus Weekend

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September was the annual Trolleybus Weekend at the East Anglia Transport Museum, which not only includes lots of operational trolleybuses in service and twilight running but also features trams in service alongside. In this pictorial article we take a look at some of the trams in action during the weekend.

One of the traditional EATM shots – tram and trolleybus sitting at Chapel Road terminus. The tram here is the unique surviving Blackpool Marton VAMBAC 11 and alongside it is Portsmouth 313.

London Passenger Transport Board HR/2 1858 was also in service and is caught here heading back down to Chapel Road.

With the light start to fade again we’re at Chapel Road on the second day of the event where we see 1858 and 634 side-by-side.
