BTP appeal after sexual assault on West Midlands Metro

The British Transport Police have launched an appeal for information to help in their investigation over a sexual assault on board the West Midlands Metro on 3rd August.

At around 1220 on 3rd August a man sexually assaulted a woman before getting off the tram at Wednesbury. It is thought the assault took place between Black Lake and Wednesbury.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact the BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 189 on 7 August. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
