As part of the continued campaign across UK tram systems to improve safety in all ways, trams on the West Midlands Metro have recently received additional signage to make it clear to passengers what to expect.
These particular signs are in relation to the tram doors, and specifically gives advice to passengers and staying clear of the closing doors. Not only does this have a safety message but can also cause delays to services whilst the doors are unable to be closed allowing the tram to depart.
