The second edition of the “Let’s Talk Light Rail” podcast from the LRSSB has now been released and this time they are focusing on the potential of a new Learning Management System to drive up competency standards in light rail.
The LRSSB’s Head of Engineering Safety and Innovation, Craig O’Brien offers an insight into the many benefits of a structured approach to training and development. He is joined by Marlene Pearson-McGrath (Training Manager, Edinburgh Trams) who has led the development of a pioneering Learning Management System for Edinburgh Trams. They discuss how a similar system can be used as an example for other networks to copy.
Then they’re joined by Carly Swift, Marketing and Digital Media Manager at LRSSB, as they discuss plans by the organisation to develop a national system embracing the best practice established in Edinburgh.
