The first phase of the newest attraction owned by the Seaton Tramway is set to open on Good Friday. Jurassic Discovery (formally Seaton Jurassic) will open its Soft Play and Café on Friday 29th March marking the first phase of the attraction which will also see an immersive experience open in the summer.
The Seaton Tramway have taken on ownership of the attraction following its closure in 2021 and have been updating the interior ahead of its opening. The first phase will see a Soft Play area for the children opened alongside a café which will have a menu of hot and cold food and drinks on offer.
Whilst owned by Seaton Tramway, Jurassic Discovery will be a stand alone attraction. There will be four two-hour play sessions available each day between 0930 and 1730 with tickets needed for those aged 2-12 old (under 2s and adults can enter for free). Session tickets are available alongside Soft Play Memberships which allow a named child and accompanying adult entry to a pre-booked soft play session. Memberships also get cardholders 10% off in the Café and Gift Shop as well as Seaton Tramway tickets.
Later in 2024 there will be a new interactive experience opening at Jurassic Discovery as well. This will allow you to step into a world of giants and immerse yourself in the fascinating era of dinosaurs. It will take visitors through time, showcasing the incredible diversity of prehistoric life. An exact opening date for this stage of the attraction is yet to be announced.
