Brick thrown at tram after driver refuses cyclist on

On Wednesday 25th November at 1100 a man threw a brick through the driver’s cab window of a tram at Ladywell on the Eccles line after he had been told he wasn’t allowed to take his bike on board. Greater Manchester Police are now investigating the incident and it is believed that the man deliberately targeted the driver in his cab but fortunately missed with luckily only an interior window being damaged. Anyone who saw the incident and can help is urged to contact the Police with further information.

More trouble on the Eccles route along with theOldham and Ashton routes this is an on going problem with some of the lowlife that inhabits some of the areas the trams have to go through namely: Langworthy, Droylsden and Failsworth. Somebody is going to get seriously hurt if action is not taken to reduce these violent incidents.

I cant understand why people with bikes dont ride them! surely that it is what they are for and not to take them for a ride on a tram. Same thing happens on trains I might add.
