This August will see over three weeks of engineering works taking place in the centre of Croydon leading to a split service operating on the London Trams system.
Starting from 2100 on Wednesday 5th August until the end of service on Sunday 30th August 2026 there will be essential maintenance work taking place to improve the tramway.
Wednesday 5th August
From 2100 there will be some disruption to services with some services finishing earlier than normal
Thursday 6th to Sunday 30th August
No trams between Reeves Corner and East Croydon
Trams will run:
- Wimbledon to Reeves Corner
- East Croydon to New Addington
- East Croydon to Beckenham Junction
- East Croydon to Elmers End (will start later and end earlier than usual with the line usually used for stabling trams which can’t get back to depot)
Sunday 16th and Thursday 20th August will also see further disruption from 2000 until the start of service the following day. This is to “facilitate alternative travel arrangements”.
