There will be a disruption to service on Luas over the Easter bank holiday weekend with engineering works due to take place on the Red line from Saturday 4th until Monday 6th April 2026.
The essential works will see track replacement at Belgard tramstop and on the Luas crossing over Belgard Road. Local residents and businesses are being warned that some of the work will be noisy at times.
For all three days the following changes will be in place:
- Red line – no trams between Red Cow and Tallaght/Saggart with trams only running between Red Cow and The Point/Connolly.
A replacement bus service will run between Red Cow and Tallaght/Saggart approximately every 15 minutes. The Green line will continue to run as normal.
Normal services are scheduled to resume from Tuesday 7th April 2026.
