We carry on with anything goes January and this time “Around the World in Trams” is going to China.
Dalian, in northern China, features one of the oldest tram systems on mainland China with it first operating in 1909. Its uses overhead power and is operated on standard gauge tracks. As is the case with so many tramways across the world, it has enjoyed periods of expansion (its highest mileage being in 1945) and then contraction with just two lines remaining in operation today. It is also notable in having mostly female staff.
In this photo we see a brightly coloured 7-3511 in operation. This is a DL6W class of tram which was built in 2007 and includes a 70% low floor interior. This particular tram was involved in a RTC in 2016 which required repairs.

I would like to be recognised as the photographer for this image, taken by me on 22/04/2008. I have other images taken at the time (including the vehicle shown) which would be happy to share with your group.
Sorry about that not sure how the wrong photographer was credited. It has now been corrected.
