Out and About 2025: Edinburgh Trams – Newhaven

We have another look at a tram running in 2025 and this time we feature a photo taken on Edinburgh Trams.

We are at the Newhaven terminus on the Edinburgh Trams system here with a view of 263 which is waiting out time before it departs back all the way to the Airport. Newhaven is one of only two stops on the extension which features platforms either side of the tracks (the other being Foot of the Walk) and also has additional space beyond the platforms for the stabling of trams if necessary. 263 is one of two trams to carry this attractive advert for the Royal Yacht Britannia, which isn’t too far away although you’d be better off using Ocean Terminal to get to this major tourist destination in the city.
