We go “Around the World in Trams” again with another photo taken in Riga, Latvia.
Once again the tram seen in the below photo is a Tatra T3A with this particular example being numbered 30743. Built in 1987, it was originally designated as a T3SU before in 2002 after modernisation work it became a T3A. The tram has been through several different numbers over the years as well – 5-1191, 4-2191, 40740 and finally 30743 in 2010.
This rural setting shows the tram in the standard Riga fleet livery as it rounds the curve with a working on route 2.
