Its time for “Around the World in Trams” again as we stay in Nice.
This week the tram featured in the below image is 009 which is again working on line 1 as its seen on Boulevard Jean Jaures. This is an attractive tree lined street in Old Nice with several restaurants and cafes nicely placed to watch the trams pass by.
009 was built in 2007 and remains a five section tram. It is able to work with overhead power as well as batteries.
