We again go “Around the World in Trams” with one final image from a visit in September 2008 to Frankfurt.
Having featured trams of the same class for the previous three weeks, this time we change class and it’s a Bombardier Flexity Classic which is in the frame. Similar trams to this can also be seen in Kassel, Germany as well as Adelaide in Australia and Norrkoping in Sweden.
The tram featured is 210 which was built in 2004. It is one of 74 of this type of tram which operate in Frankfurt with the majority introduced in 2004-7 before the final nine came in 2013. Its working on line 21 to Stadion.
