Another edition of “Picture in Time” goes to London’s Docklands Light Railway.
When the DLR first opened services were formed by single units but as time has gone on and passenger numbers have shot up all services are in the hands of either two or three units coupled together. This will change with the introduction of the CAF units though as they are much longer and will run solo with a higher capacity than three of the current units running together. This photo shows B92 72 at the head of a double unit in the standard “river” fleet livery as they approach Blackwall.
