Jurassic Discovery is to fully open to the public from 1000 on Saturday 27th July. Located in the former Seaton Jurassic building which is located alongside the Seaton Tramway, this new attraction is being operated by the tramway although will be standalone.
The highlight of Jurassic Discovery will the “Last Day of the Dinosaurs” exhibition, which is an immersive, walk-through experience. It will take visitors back to the prehistoric era and offer a journey to discover the final days of the dinosaurs.
This will be a unique adventure for families, dinosaur enthusiasts and curious minds of all ages. There will be life-like animatronic dinosaurs (purchased from the Natural History Museum) with realistic scenes that show the diverse ecosystem that existed 66 million years ago, right up until the dramatic events that led to the extinction of dinosaurs.
Its aimed to not only be entertaining but also educational with visitors able to learn about different dinosaur species, their habitats and behaviours.

Our aim is to create an engaging, educational, and unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.”
Jurassic Discovery will offer annual memberships for the centre and soft play and there will also be joint tickets on offer with Seaton Tramway.
