Another event success at Seaton Tramway with the Moomin Summer Adventure

New for 2026, the Moomin Summer Adventure has been entertaining families at the Seaton Tramway during August and following the conclusion of the event it has been declared another successful event.

The popular event saw guests from across the country (with some from as far afield as Scotland) begin their adventure aboard a specially decorated tram. There they were welcomed by ‘The Narrator’ and told fascinating stories and facts about everything Moomin, while the journey took them through the scenic Axe Valley. At Colyton Station there was a charming puppet show with refreshments also on offer and the chance for children to get involved in Moomin related activities.

Jenny Nunn, Seaton Tramway Chief Executive, said: “We have been absolutely delighted with the response to our Moomin Summer Adventure. We wanted to create something that felt genuinely magical for families while combining the unique experience of travelling on the tramway with the wonderful world of the Moomins.

“Seeing children’s faces light up as they entered the world of Moominvalley has been incredibly rewarding. The fantastic feedback from our visitors has made all the hard work behind the scenes worthwhile, and we would like to thank everyone who came along and made the event such a success.”

Seaton Tramway are now celebrating what has been a successful summer and is already looking ahead to future events and experiences for visitors.
