Today we feature another two tram line-up on Crich’s depot fan and this one was celebrating the Grimsby & Immingham system.
2011 marked the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Grimsby & Immingham Electric Railway and to commemorate the occasion the Enthusiasts Tram Event at Crich on 29th May 2011 featured a line-up of the two trams which once ran on the system which reisde at the museum. These were Grimsby & Immingham 14 along with Gateshead 5 which ended its operating career on the Lincolnshire coast.
Gateshead 5 on the left and Grimsby & Immingham 14 on the right. This was a rare appearance in the open for 14 which was also treated to a bath with it usually to be found at the rear of road 4 in the depot.
