Blackpool gets ready for Easter

This Easter weekend sees the return of the Gold timetable for Blackpool’s Heritage Tram Tours between Saturday 26th and Monday 28th March and there is also a bonus heritage service on Friday 25th March – including evening runs to Fleetwood.

The following services are due to run this weekend:

Friday 25th March

Blue timetable (2 trams) running mainly between Pleasure Beach and Tower/North Pier (with some journeys extended to Cabin) from 1300 to 1700

Special evening tours to Fleetwood (using 2 trams) departing Tower/North Pier at 1810 and 1825

Trams in use: Boat 227 and Balloon 715 (daytime), Brush 631 and Twin Car 675+685 (evening)

Saturday 26th March

Gold timetable with 7 trams in use – 6 of these will run according to the published timetable with the seventh operating on an ad hoc basis

Planned trams: Box 40, Brush 631, Railcoach 680, Twin Car 272+T2, Balloons 701, 715 and 717

Sunday 27th March

Gold timetable with 7 trams in use – 6 of these will run according to the published timetable with the seventh operating on an ad hoc basis. This day will include the previously announced first run of Marton Box 31.

Planned trams: Marton Box 31, Bolton 66, Twin Car 675+685, Brush 631, Balloons 701, 715, 717

Monday 28th March

Gold timetable with 7 trams in use – 6 of these will run according to the published timetable with the seventh operating on an ad hoc basis.

Planned trams: Marton Box 31, Box 40, Railcoach 680, Twin Car 272+T2, Balloons 701, 715, 717
